On January 17, Samsung will reveal the new AI-powered flagship Galaxy S24 smartphone. In addition to taking place at the SAP Center in the California city of San Jose, the event will be live-streamed on YouTube and Samsung’s social media platforms.
While the firm hasn’t referred to the Galaxy S24 series directly in its press invites, it has made insinuations about releasing a range of high-end handsets that will offer “the most sophisticated and intelligent smartphone experience yet. According to leaks and reports, the upcoming Galaxy S24 series will include:
- A titanium body for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
- A redesigned phone with rounded edges.
- Frequent processor and camera improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be available in four screen sizes. It is speculated that this series will be the first to feature Samsung’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology, following the recent launch of its generative AI model, Gauss. The phones will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU processor and Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400 processor, both of which offer cutting-edge AI technologies.
It is still being determined which processor, Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will be utilized for the Asia release of the Galaxy S24. Samsung typically releases the newest model in its Galaxy S series in February, but the Galaxy S24’s early release could be a reaction to declining sales. In contrast to consumers in developed countries like the US and Europe, who are holding onto their current smartphones because there have been few noteworthy upgrades, Asia Countries like, India, Pakistan has a trend toward high-end smartphone purchases. Industry experts think that increasing the emphasis on generative AI will increase sales of smartphones.
